Reviews and Ratings
I had a lovely stay at the hotel. The rooms were very nice, although they could use a bit of freshening up, they still had a cozy look and a view to a different room that I got for no extra charge other than the one-time $50 for the bed. The service was top-notch, with special remarks to the kind housekeepers who always came with a smile during turndown service, bringing ice and water as it was boiling hot outside, although some aspects were a bit aggressive like with the hotel bikes. The location was great, providing stunning harbor views and good access to New York while being in a quieter location with stunning views of the Statue of Liberty. The dining experience was pleasant, with very attentive and polite staff, but I didn't understand how it was rated as superb as I had to wait for about 15 minutes each time due to no free tables. The facilities overall were good.
My stay at the hotel was truly wonderful. The hotel boasts spacious rooms that are impeccably clean and offer a good amount of space. The staff were incredibly friendly and courteous, making me feel truly appreciated and welcome. However, there was a lack of transparency regarding additional charges. The location, overlooking the water with stunning views of the Statue of Liberty, was absolutely stunning, although transportation could be a bit tricky at times.
My stay at the hotel offered a mix of historical charm with a view of modern Manhattan, but the room was poorly equipped without even a coffee machine or a tea maker. The highlight was the stunning view of the Statue of Liberty, but the room's readiness was disappointing.
My stay at this hotel was truly fantastic. The rooms were incredibly spacious and much more comfortable than other places I've stayed in NYC. They were not only very clean but also beautifully presented. The staff was very pleasant and welcoming. On the downside, the dining experience left something to be desired, with some delays due to limited tables available. However, the overall experience was excellent and worth the value.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room I was moved to was spacious and included nice amenities like slippers and a well-stocked minibar; however, the missing fridge was a downside. The service was exceptional, and the staff went above and beyond to assist me, even when moving rooms. The location was ideal, situated in a calm area of NYC and conveniently close to transportation options. The dining experience was satisfying, especially with the option of ordering to the room. Overall, a great value for money.
My stay at this hotel was a delightful mix of history and modern Manhattan views in a clean room with a cozy feel, complete with two chocolates on the pillow. The working desk was excellent, although the water and ice bucket could have been fresher. The friendly service made me feel at home, especially during turndown service in the scorching weather. The location is perfect for exploring Wall Street and Battery Park but might be confusing to navigate at first. The dining experience was good with warm service, though there were minor delays. Overall, a great value for the location and amenities provided.
My stay at the hotel was incredible! The rooms were spacious with generous outside lights, offering a stunning view of the Statue of Liberty. They quickly accommodated us in a different room with no extra charge, just a one-time $50 fee for the bed, including the iconic view of the Statue of Liberty.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The location is great, close to Wall Street and Battery Park, ideal for exploring lower Manhattan. The rooms didn't quite match the advertised Statue of Liberty view, and some amenities were missing. The service was exceptional, particularly the housekeepers who were friendly and helpful.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were always clean with those two chocolates on my pillow, and the water/full ice bucket was a nice touch. The location was in a very nice area of NYC, making it easy to get around, especially to Big Bus tour stops and all transport to uptown. The dining experience could have been warmer, but there were plenty of choices available. The service was top-notch, with special remarks to the kind housekeepers during turndown service. Overall, a great value for the price.
